Back on Track
Weight loss surgery is a journey. As with any journey in life, we can have some road blocks and detours along the way. Our dedicated staff is committed to help you along this journey. We offer an “open door” policy. If you ever need to be seen or need to get back on track, just call us and we will help develop a plan to get you back on your weight loss journey to a happier and healthier life.
We also offer support groups. Support from people who share a similar experience can really help in the days, weeks, and months after surgery. Peer support adds a different perspective to looking at your challenges and the support that you get from another patient who has successfully overcome a similar obstacle can help you overcome yours.
When working on a project, you need a toolbox full of the right tools. Weight loss surgery is one of those tools, as well as the education and support that you can get at our support groups. In addition to the support, this group offers friendship and a chance to build lasting relationships with other patients and our team of providers. We have social gatherings and celebrate our new lives together.
What you can do to get back on track:
Reach out for support. It starts with making the decision to take control of your life and get back on track by calling our office. Your surgical team can offer a great deal of understanding and insight. Discuss your feelings with them. In addition to the above support, remember back to all you’ve learned throughout your journey, starting from the seminar, about eating, drinking, and exercise.
Remember, we are only a phone call away (814) 467-4750. There is no time like the present time to get back on track.
