Windber Surgery Center’s bariatric patients meet regularly to provide each other the strength and support they need to cope with the major changes they are experiencing in life after their surgery.
Patients can get help and information from the community on how to achieve and maintain their weight loss and live a healthy life. All patients interested in pursuing the LAP Band surgery are welcome to attend our support group meetings and meet and mingle with our patients who have either undergone the LAP Band procedure or are in the pre-operative process.
